Our supplier charter
Our sustainability approach includes all stakeholders. In this context, we have developed a supplier charter.
It commits our suppliers to respect 5 points:
- Human rights
- Working conditions
- Environment
- Ethics and compliance
- Products and product information

REACH & ROHS compliance
The health of our customers is one of our priorities.
This is why, at GIGAMEDIA, we make sure that our products comply with the standards in force on the European market. Our quality team ensures continuous monitoring of these regulations, thus guaranteeing the safety and conformity of our products.

More sustainable packaging
We have improved our packaging by reducing the use of plastic and using eco-inking.

Environmental data for our customers
We produce Product Environmental Profiles (PEPs). These apply to our electrical and electronic products and are based on a complete life cycle assessment of our products.

Driven by a desire of transparency with its customers, GIGAMEDIA is taking a number of steps to ensure that its products are ever more sustainable.
We have carried out Life Cycle Analyses (LCA) of our products.
What is a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)?
A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a methodology for evaluating multiple environmental impacts (such as global warming potential, energy and fresh water consumption, etc.) associated with all stages of a product’s life cycle (from extraction of raw materials to end of life).
This LCA is then reviewed by an independent third party to create a Product Environmental Profile (PEP).
