Financing renaturation projects and involving our internal teams with customers
GIGAMEDIA is committed to plans to renature our territory to preserve nature and biodiversity in urban and peri-urban areas. 🌳
Our teams and a few customers met in the towns of Caudry (2023) and Chelles (2024) in France to plant 2,500 and 2,400 trees respectively, that can’t be cut in the next 99 years.
Beyond CO₂ capture, these actions carried out with our customers made it possible to:
✓ Create biodiversity refuges for fauna and flora
✓ Improve soil retention and preservation by regulating water
✓ Provide local populations with cooling areas
✓ Regenerate unused land in urban and peri-urban areas
Donations of equipment
As part of the GO4BLUE approach, and to promote its activity in a sustainable way, GIGAMEDIA makes annual donations to associations in need.
For instance, in 2024, GIGAMEDIA donated two JUNGHEINRICH trolleys, two shelf trolleys and floor-standing cabinets to the Restos du Cœur in Wattrelos (France).
