The bare fibre tester allows to quickly and at minimal cost, perform a reflectometry test on an optic cable before laying, even if still wound on the drum. After stripping, baring and cleavage, it is sufficient to insert an optical strand and carry out the test. The adaptor is immediately reusable for the following strand. It removes any doubt concerning possible breakage of the fibre and avoids costs and disputes after installation.
