Planting 2,400 trees in Chelles
On Wednesday, February 28, a group of GIGAMEDIA team members gathered in Chelles, on the Plaines des Coudreaux, to take part in a day dedicated to the town’s renaturation.
This day is part of the “Chelles nature 2030” action plan.
On the program:
- Tree and shrub planting
- A biodiversity workshop
- Discussions about the benefits of wooded ecosystems
A total of 2,400 shrubs were planted over an 800 m² area in a public urban park, using around ten local species.
