It allows up to 12 Gigamedia unified access points to be managed for a maximum of 100 users connected simultaneously. The GGM WCAP100 controller is an economical and reliable solution for the deployment of medium-sized WiFi networks. The automatic discovery of Gigamedia unified access points and their management in one single point allows you to benefit from the professional WiFi network without the restrictions of maintenance of a complex system. Simplified and centralised administration The centralised management of access points provides a simple means for automatic discovery of all compatible Gigamedia access points, adds them to the list of managed access points and deploys a unique WiFi configuration over all the network. Surveillance in real time of the access points and associated clients guarantees the correct distribution of network resources. Complete security The GGM WCAP100 controller integrates all types of Wireless security solutions for all types of network. From a point of view of a unified access point, the GGM WCAP100 controller allows you to use security functionalities such as the WPA Personal/Enterprise, the WPA2 Personal/Enterprise, the filtering of MAC addresses by white list or black list in order to precisely determine, the identity of the connected peripherals. From the point of view of the controller, the GGM WCAP100 supports TAG VLAN in order to link an SSID with a VLAN specific to the network. The GGM WCAP100 also supports numerous security functions: IP filtering, MAC filtering, URL filtering, DMZ ... Solidly designed Based on a two core chipset and a 256Mb DDR2 Flash memory, the GGM WCAP100 controller maintains the WiFi network stable and always available. The GGM WCAP100 controller also has 5 Gigabit LAN ports of which one can be set up as a WAN port to become the main router for your company (PPPoE, Static IP, Dynamic IP or PPTP).
